If you have read through the Complaint sent in 2003, you have seen the emails sent to us by Mrs. Galpin, Mr. Carlson, and others. The following are emails sent to us by them. Some were NOT sent on for the Ethics committee to read, or they were sent after the complaint had already been mailed. I am including them here so that you can see how even in the emails there are contradictions, clear harassment techniques, and threats toward us. Please be aware that both local law authorities and Federal law authorities were notified when applicable. There are so many sent to us, I have divided them up. My comments on them, if any will appear after the email entry. As before all email addresses, physical address, web address, and phone numbers have been removed for privacy.
As you read, keep in mind that simple phrase: No matter how damaging, insensitive, rude or inappropriate a statement may be, the plaintiff will lose his claim if the statement is true.
Reading these numerous e-mails, I have noticed several reoccurring themes from Mrs. Galpin and strangely enough, not one of them has anything to do with solving the problem of treating the sick animals she sold or the threats and harassment she barraged us with later. I will define three themes out to you here and let you find the others on your own. I have marked each e-mail that contains one of these themes.
Reoccurring Love / Hate Theme:As you read, you will see this reoccurring theme: say the site is cute, then attack something about Julie, whether it be her person, her friends, her age, her business, her religion, etc. Whenever this happens, I will point it out by simply using the phrase, Reoccurring Love/Hate Theme
Reoccurring Cage Theme: Watch how the size and amount that she spent on the cage for her cats is a main focus for Mrs. Galpin. This has never been mentioned as anything of concern other than they were exposed to the weather and smelled like they needed to be cleaned. This was only brought up in the complaint and not on the website.
Reoccurring Bug Theme Mrs. Galpin states that she would not even kill bugs. Good for her. Why this is important is beyond me. She brings it up several times in the future, I suppose to try and show how nice she is. Not killing bugs does not change that the cats came to us sick. It does not change that we were treated as criminals nor does it change that Mrs. Galpin was NOT nice to us!
I have also noticed that Mrs. Galpin has several words that she uses constantly. Here is a grand total of how many times to date she has used some of them in the emails that she has sent:
There are several other reoccurrences that are minor. Some I point out, some I don't.

If the kitten or Katie had parasites and I had known, they would have gotten Metronitazole or some othre meds. They showed no signs of having any problem such a diarrhea, other than the known luxating patella. Please remove your slanderous lies from your web site. This is the breeder I got my two bengals from. Not only was it possibly the worst experience of my life to do business with this woman, but she kept demanding more money with absolutely no refunds. Before I knew it, I was either out all the money I had "deposited" or had to spend hundreds more to get my cat. She also had tons of hidden expenses, and I got absolutely no reciepts, or proof of anything, including the health certificate. She says on her website that she guarantees health, but both my cats came to me sick, and full of parasites. We had more expenses with repeated vet visits just to get them healthy. Katie's fluxating patella is a genetic defect, and she is currently using some of Katie's children, and other cats of the same line in her breeding program. Now, as far as the sister meeting us halfway between Phoenix and Albuquerque, I must point out that this was not our idea, it was Mrs. Galpin's It did not save us in shipping as we had to still pay her for shipping costs, for a health certificate we never saw, a carrier we never received, and our own gas to get to and back from the meeting place, which if you recall from the complaint, is why we refused to pay for her sister's gas on top of the other shipping costs.
Her statement that the cats did not have parasites because they did not show symptoms when in her care is ridiculous. An animal does not show symptoms and a veterinarian does not prescribe medication just because. Her lack of concern and downright refusal to acknowledge either of the cats' sicknesses is a main cause for friction throughout our dealings.
Watch through the emails and even the complaint, how she sometimes acknowledges Katie's fluxating patella and other times dismisses it as trivial.

If you aren't happy with Katie, I will buy her from you for the amount you paid for her, as well as your vet bills. Katie was nursing a litter when I was picking a cat, so I couldn't have her then. Here is yet another email that was sent to law authorities. The meaning of the message is threatening in nature. The subject line makes it appear that Mrs. Galpin is talking about a law suit, but how many emails have you ever gotten that have an innocent subject line but the body is an advertisement for porn sites, or there is an attachment that is a virus. Subject lines are very deceptive, and that was taken into consideration in this case as well.

He comes from high quality lines and I could have sold him. You just do not know me and you have attacked the one part of me that has always made me different than other people I know. I spend lots of money saving animals and taking hurt animals to the vet and donating money to help no kill shelters. Recently I spent $1,500 on a cat of mine that had fallen. Money has been no object with me when it comes to animals. You just do not know me, the real me. Also, Katie did love me alot!!!!!!! And I loved her and still do. I am glad she has a good home. I could tell by the amount of time you spent on your site that you really have a good home for her but your words about me were untrue. I can give you a woman's phone number that was the president of TIBCS (oh and by the way, I don't think they'd want you linking to them when you are libeling one of their members on the same site). Pam Knowles was the president of TIBCS at the time of our purchase. I wrote a letter to TIBCS and sent one to both address that I found on the website. Only one was valid and I received the other one as not deliverable. I have kept this letter and am glad I did, because now we have proof that we in fact sent a complaint to the TIBCS in 2000. I received a phone call from Mrs. Knowles about this particular complaint and we spoke in length about what could be done. As we were not looking for a monetary refund, there were no contracts signed and Mrs. Knowles acknowledged the presence of Mrs. Galpin, we let the matter drop. Mrs. Knowles did assure me that a complaint would be filed, but that unless there were other complaints lodged against Mrs. Galpin, her standing would not change in the TIBCS society. Therefore, Mrs. Galpin's continuing assertion that she has NEVER been turned into the TIBCS is false.
Recently a new email has been sent that is VERY interesting. Mrs. Galpin states
in this email that: "I can give you a woman's phone number that was the president
of TIBCS....Her name is Pam Knowles and
she has been to my house and I to hers to see each other's catteries. She
was in charge of complaints of TIBCS members."

This email was also turned into law enforcement officials for the broad and threatening nature of the phrases, "Get your act together before I and others take you to task on the matter." and "It will begin today Julie....." Again, this probably a bunch of hot air and can be dismissed, but it is always better to have put up defenses than to be vulnerable to an attack.
As for the statement about the 'true' story obtained from Mrs. Galpin, there are several mistakes that I might point out:
